CM Bhajanlal Sharma Inaugurates Ganga Canal Centennial & Ferozepur Feeder

CM Bhajanlal Sharma visits Sriganganagar, lays Rs 647.62 Cr foundation stone for Ferozepur feeder renovation, boosting irrigation & crop productivity.

Chief Minister Bhajanlala Sriganganagar Visit: On Friday, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will travel to Phalodi and Sri Ganganagar. At 11:30 a.m., the chief minister will depart from Jaipur airport and arrive at Suratgarh airport around 12:20 p.m. After arriving at the Gajar Mandi from the Sadhuwali helicopter at 12:50 pm, they would go to the Gangnahar Shatabdi celebrations at 1 pm. At a total cost of Rs 647.62 crore, he will lay the foundation stone for the renovation.

A project of Rs 647.62 crore will have its foundation stone placed.

In Sri Ganganagar, the Chief Minister will take part in the festivities of the Ganga Canal’s centennial. After that, he will lay the cornerstone for the Ferozepur feeder’s rebuilding. The project, which would involve Punjab and Rajasthan, will be finished for a total of Rs 647.62 crore. This project will boost crop productivity and supply water to roughly three lakh fourteen thousand hectares.

The irrigation system will receive fresh power.

CC lining is part of the reconstruction work from RD Zero to 168 points 23 zero. Two head regulators will be rebuilt as a result. A head regulator will also be rebuilt in conjunction with this. We’ll rebuild a cross regulator. The DRC and the Nineteen Overseas will be restored. Three railway overbridges will also be rebuilt in conjunction with this. The canal’s water supply will be greatly increased as more water from the Harike barrage is now delivered to the Ferozepur feeder.

I’ll depart for Jaipur by nightfall.

The CM will arrive at Sadhuwali Helipad at 2:25 pm after the function and depart for Suratgarh Airport. At 2:55 p.m., he will depart for Phalodi to join a local gathering in Dhelana. At 6 p.m., the Chief Minister will arrive at Phalodi Airport following the function and depart for Jaipur.
