CM Yogi Unveils 659 Cr Development Push in Sambhal

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 222 development projects worth ₹659 crore in Bahjoi, Sambhal, emphasizing the twin goals of infrastructure progress and cultural rejuvenation.

Addressing a massive gathering, CM Yogi called Sambhal a sacred site with deep spiritual relevance, citing it as the future birthplace of Lord Kalki as per Hindu scriptures. His visit was marked by fiery rhetoric, where he criticized past governments for neglecting the region’s spiritual heritage and accused them of shielding rioters.

Reviving Desecrated Heritage Sites

In a bold cultural pitch, CM Yogi announced a revival plan for 68 pilgrimage sites and 19 wells that were desecrated by foreign invaders. He said past regimes deliberately erased Sambhal’s Hindu identity and failed to uphold justice.

“Those who sinned against Sambhal will face Mahakal’s justice,” he declared.

The statement received loud applause, especially as it echoed his consistent narrative of cultural pride and justice.

Political Firepower Against Congress and SP

The Chief Minister didn’t hold back in attacking the Congress and Samajwadi Party, holding them responsible for post-independence communal riots and protecting the perpetrators.

“We’re not here for vote banks—we’re here to preserve India’s heritage,” Yogi said.

He contrasted the lawlessness of previous governments with his administration’s promise of strict governance—ensuring security for citizens, barring rioters.

Major Welfare Announcements and App Launch

In addition to infrastructure, CM Yogi launched the ‘Sambhal Samvad’ mobile app, designed to bridge communication between the administration and residents. He also performed a symbolic Annaprashan ceremony, visited an archaeological site, and laid the foundation stone for the new District Magistrate office and integrated housing project.

Welfare initiatives saw active rollout on-ground, with Yogi distributing cheques, house keys, and certificates under various state and central government schemes.

Infrastructure Boost and Job Creation

The ₹659 crore worth of projects span:

  • Education and school buildings
  • Roads and rural connectivity
  • Drinking water and sanitation
  • Anganwadi centers
  • Skill development and employment

Highlighting his government’s achievements, Yogi noted that 8.5 lakh jobs had been created over eight years, with 60,200 police recruitments ensuring stronger law enforcement.

Call to Celebrate National Spirit

Towards the end, CM Yogi urged citizens to celebrate festivals like Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami, Kakori Memorial Day, and Independence Day with pride. He encouraged active participation in PM Modi’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign to foster national unity.

Senior BJP leaders, ministers, and local dignitaries attended the event, applauding the Chief Minister’s assertive message.

“True development is preserving our roots while building a stronger future,” CM Yogi concluded.
