Unveiling Global Garment Manufacturing Initiative

As the Prime Minister inaugurates textile hub facilities in Varanasi, local economic opportunities are expanding rapidly across eastern Uttar Pradesh. The newly commissioned garment manufacturing plant centers heavily on women-led industrial participation.

Speaking to local workers and industrial representatives, administrative officials emphasized that the facility connects regional weavers and artisans directly to international commercial markets. The manufacturing unit features modern sewing machinery, automated fabric cutters, and sustainable water treatment systems.

This project aims to transform the historic district into an export-oriented textile destination. Central infrastructure investments continue driving regional employment while promoting inclusive economic empowerment.

Indian Air Force Aerial Display at Namo Ghat

Following the inauguration, public attention shifted toward Namo Ghat along the banks of the Ganges River. The Indian Air Force hosted a breathtaking aerial demonstration titled “Wings over Ganges” to commemorate its 94th anniversary.

Premier acrobatic formations, including the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team and the Sarang Helicopter Display Team, executed precision maneuvers over the river. Thousands of spectators lined the riverfront to watch fighter jets and utility helicopters demonstrate operational excellence.

Defense officials highlighted that hosting high-visibility aerial events in tier-two cities inspires local youth to consider careers in military aviation.
