Yogi Adityanath addresses grievances in Gorakhpur

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed strict action against land-grabbers, stressing that illegal encroachments on the poor’s land will not be tolerated. He made the remarks while hearing public grievances at the Janata Darshan held at the Gorakhnath temple complex in Gorakhpur.

Over 200 people, many seated outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan, presented their petitions during the session. Issues raised ranged from illegal land occupation to requests for medical assistance and educational support.

The Chief Minister instructed police and revenue officials to immediately act on complaints, particularly in cases involving unlawful possession of land. “Encroachments must be removed without delay. Ensure that no one dares to grab anyone’s land again,” Yogi Adityanath said.

Land-grabbing complaints take center stage

One of the most striking complaints came from a woman who alleged that her property was forcibly taken by local strongmen. Responding firmly, the CM ordered authorities to investigate and return the land to its rightful owner.

Officials were also told to intensify monitoring and prevent repeat violations. Yogi Adityanath emphasized that the government is committed to safeguarding the rights of citizens, especially those from weaker sections of society.

Janata Darshan: a platform for justice

The Janata Darshan initiative has become a key channel for direct communication between citizens and the Chief Minister. Through these sessions, residents can voice grievances and receive immediate instructions directed to officials.

In Gorakhpur, the CM not only addressed land issues but also directed officials to provide timely medical assistance and financial help for genuine cases. His approach reflected the state government’s policy of delivering swift solutions while holding departments accountable.

Previously, Yogi Adityanath conducted a similar session in Lucknow. During that interaction, a young girl seeking admission to medical studies appealed for help. The CM instructed officials to support her ambition, underlining his focus on education and youth development.

Justice and prosperity for all

Addressing the gathering, Yogi Adityanath reiterated his government’s broader vision of prosperity and justice. He assured people that the administration is working tirelessly to ensure that every citizen’s rights are protected.

He highlighted that Uttar Pradesh’s development depends on law, order, and fairness. “The government stands with every honest citizen. We will not let criminals or land-grabbers disrupt peace and justice,” he affirmed.

Conclusion

CM Yogi Adityanath’s strong message against illegal land encroachment has reinforced the state government’s stance on justice and accountability. By directly engaging with citizens through Janata Darshan, the Chief Minister continues to project a governance model rooted in accessibility, fairness, and quick redressal.
