Jaipur : The Rajasthan government has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a smooth supply of domestic LPG cylinders across the state. Ambareesh Kumar, Secretary of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, chaired a crucial video conference with district logistics officers from all districts to review the state’s LPG distribution system.
During the meeting, Secretary Kumar assured that domestic consumers have sufficient access to cooking gas and emphasized that there is no reason for concern. Officials were instructed to ensure that the Rajasthan LPG supply management system operates without disruption anywhere in the state.
“All citizens should receive their gas cylinders on time, and there should be no obstacle in distribution,” said Secretary Kumar. He further instructed coordination with oil and gas companies to guarantee timely supply of LPG cylinders, ensuring that consumers do not face any inconvenience.

Special attention was given to maintaining uninterrupted supply to educational institutions, hospitals, and other essential service providers. “The department is committed to ensuring that LPG supply to schools, hospitals, and critical services is never affected,” Kumar added. District officers were directed to intervene immediately if any institution encounters supply issues and resolve them promptly.

The meeting was attended by Additional Food Commissioner Poonam Sagar, senior officers from the Food and Civil Supplies Department, and representatives from major oil and gas companies. Discussions focused on strengthening the Rajasthan LPG supply management system to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Officials emphasized that continuous monitoring and proactive coordination are key to the state’s Rajasthan LPG supply management, which aims to provide timely delivery of cooking gas to households and critical institutions, keeping citizens assured of uninterrupted access.
