Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma and state leaders pay tribute to former VP Bhairon Singh Shekhawat on his birth anniversary, honoring his legacy in public welfare.

On the anniversary of Bhairon Singh Shekhawat’s birth, Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma presented flowers to the former vice president at his memorial site here on Thursday.

Sharma said Shekhawat, a former chief minister of Rajasthan, has a strong dedication to public welfare while serving the state and the country.

Through the Antyodaya system in Rajasthan, he raised the last person in line, motivated by the ideas of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. Additionally, he continued, “He upheld the principles of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi.”
The state’s development and welfare programs continue to be guided by Shekhawat’s vision and commitment to governance, the chief minister stated.

The ceremony was also attended by Jaipur Greater Mayor Soumya Gurjar, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, MP Madan Rathore, lawmakers Gopal Sharma, Manju Sharma, and Balmukundacharya, and Rajasthan Finance Commission Chairman Arun Chaturvedi.
