Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami launches free pre-recruitment training for youth in all 13 districts to prepare for Agniveer recruitment.

Recently, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed the Department of Sports and young Welfare to train Uttarakhand young in preparation for the recruitment of Agniveers.

As directed by him, the Department has made all the necessary arrangements to provide prospective Agniveers with free pre-recruitment training. All 13 districts in the state will soon start the training.

Every household in Uttarakhand has at least one member in the armed forces, according to the chief minister, who also added that the state has a great military heritage.

Through this program, the state government is assisting Agniveer candidates in serving the country by offering pre-recruitment training. In addition, he stated in a release that the administration has made the decision to provide Agniveers a reservation in state government positions following their service tenure.

It is required that candidates for the Agniveer pre-recruitment training be Uttarakhand natives or permanent residents, or be enrolled in or working in a state-run institution. To be eligible, candidates must have passed the high school test with at least 45% of the possible points and at least 33% in each subject. A minimum age of sixteen is required of the candidate.

Registration is required at the District Youth Welfare Officer’s office or the District Sports Office. Additionally, a medical fitness certificate from a licensed physician is required of applicants. Wearing the sports kit—which consists of a T-shirt, shorts, athletic shoes, and socks—is mandatory throughout training.

Eligible candidates will not have tattoos or any other permanent, artificial markings on their bodies. Under the supervision of departmental trainers assigned to the respective sports stadiums or grounds, the training must only be conducted.
