CM Bhajanlal Sharma highlights improved law & order, praises Rajasthan Police Academy for excellence in training & innovation.
Bhajanlal Sharma, the chief minister of Rajasthan, stated that the state’s law and order has significantly improved over the previous two years, resulting in a decrease in crime.
According to him, attaining the goal of a developed India requires a strong law and order system. “Compared to 2023, there has been a 15 per cent reduction in crimes, a 25 per cent drop in murder cases, and a 50 per cent reduction in robbery cases,” Sharma stated.
“Cases of atrocities against women have decreased by 10 per cent, and atrocities against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes have fallen by 28 per cent,” he stated. The Rajasthan Police Academy hosted a state-level police symposium on “Police System in a Developed India” where he was giving a speech.
The CM added that the state now has a new identity thanks to advancements in police training. He conveyed his delight at the Rajasthan Police Academy’s recognition as a “Outstanding Institution” by the Indian government.

As the State takes the lead in establishing the new criminal justice system, Sharma commended the police officers on their accomplishment and urged them to keep up the good work.
According to Sharma, the state’s economy is directly strengthened by improved law and order. “Development and investment in any state are not possible without a strong law and order system,” he stated.
Sharma advocated for community policing and the development of mechanisms to interact with people and organizations that embrace innovative and constructive viewpoints.
Jawahar Singh Beedham, the home minister, stated that the police are essential to achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of a “Developed India.”
DGP Rajeev Kumar Sharma emphasized the necessity of ongoing innovation to improve the efficacy of policing.
