Former CM Ashok Gehlot mourns the loss

Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also expressed grief, describing Pawar’s death as a sad and shocking event. Eyewitness account of the crash

An eyewitness present at the scene said, “I saw the crash with my own eyes. It was truly heartbreaking. As the plane was descending, it appeared it might crash—and it did. There was a massive explosion immediately after impact. We ran to the site and saw the plane engulfed in flames. Several more explosions occurred, and people tried to evacuate those on board, but the fire was too intense. Ajit Pawar was on the aircraft, and his loss is deeply saddening. Words cannot express how tragic this is.”
