BJP leaders Vasundhara Raje and Bhajanlal Sharma hold a massive roadshow in Mangrol town ahead of Anta by-election on November 11, supporting Morpal Suman.

Ahead of the Anta assembly by-election, the ruling BJP demonstrated its power on Thursday when former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma organized a roadshow in Mangrol town, Baran district, in favor of party candidate Morpal Suman.

Large crowds watched the 2.5-kilometer march, which started at Subhash Chowk and finished at Siswali Tiraha. Along the way, people threw flower petals. The leaders were greeted by more than fifty welcome gates.

From an open-roof campaign truck, Sharma, Raje, and other BJP leaders waved to fans.

The purpose of the event, according to party leaders, was to demonstrate organizational unity before the November 11 election.

Sharma reaffirmed his administration’s promise to generating 4 lakh jobs throughout its mandate, highlighting his government’s developmental activities in the area and advising the youth not to worry about employment.

“This government is committed to the welfare and advancement of farmers and the impoverished. “They (Congress) represented deception and robbery,” Sharma stated.

He added that although question papers had been leaked multiple times during the previous Congress administration, this had not happened during his two years in power.

Vasundhara Raje brought up the topic of local farmers’ compensation for crop losses during her address. She claimed that because the farmers’ losses did not meet the current standards, they were getting “next to nothing” in compensation. Raje went on to say they would be fairly compensated if their damages were taken into account in accordance with the guidelines of the State Disaster Relief Fund. She also pledged to forward a proposal to the chief minister.

The crowd cheered and applauded as she also urged the chief minister to reconsider the Bajri tenders for the Parvati river. Raje gave the audience his word that the problem would be resolved.

Sharma took a chartered airplane to Jhalawar earlier in the day and then took a helicopter to Mangrol. The entire route was made more secure, and there were several police officers on duty.

On November 11, the Anta constituency will cast its ballot, and on November 14, the count will be conducted.

After Kanwar Lal Meena, the current BJP MLA, was disqualified due to his conviction in a criminal case, a by-election was required. Morpal Suman of the BJP, Pramod Jain Bhaya of the Congress, and independent candidate Naresh Meena are competing in a triangular race for the seat.
