UP govt under CM Yogi Adityanath raises marriage financial aid for daughters of construction workers, benefiting over 1.88 crore registered workers.
The financial support given by the daughters of construction workers at the marriage ceremony has been raised by the Yogi Adityanath, UP Govt. Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister, has expressed gratitude for the significant decision that serves their interests. 18,94,797 applicants under various schemes have received a total of Rs 6336.61 crore from the State Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
The State Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board would receive financial aid in the sum of Rs 65,000 per couple for a regular marriage, Rs 75,000 for an intercaste marriage, and Rs 85,000 for a mass marriage. In addition, 15,000 will be made available for the event individually.

According to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the labor family is the foundation of society. The government has a human obligation to support its daughters’ marriages financially. The government is working to help him begin a new chapter in his life without having to worry about having a labor daughter. To ensure that the working families are not inconvenienced, the Board and the working Department will handle the full planning of mass marriage programs in this sequence. The department will make all the necessary arrangements for the marriage event’s food, lodging, transportation, and safety.

Benefits will be extended to over 1.88 crore registered workers.
Our goal is to ensure that all registered workers receive the benefits of the schemes, stated Pooja Yadav, Secretary, Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. The worker families will directly and visibly benefit from increased help for female child marriages. Over 1.88 crore workers are currently registered with the board.
Easy and cost-free application procedure
By paying a one-time registration fee of just Rs 20 and a yearly payment of Rs 20, registered workers can become eligible for the schemes. The online application process is free of charge. Employees can apply online or at public service centers.
Board’s employee welfare programs
- Birth aid: ₹2.50 lakh and a term deposit of Rs 20,000 for a son’s birth and Rs 25,000 for a daughter’s.
- Education Assistance: From class 1 to higher education, a sum between Rs 2,000 and Rs 1 lakh is provided, along with complete reimbursement for vocational courses.
- Assistance for Critical Illness: reimbursement of medical costs.
- Pension assistance: Depending on qualifying, financial support of Rs 1,000 each month.
- Disability/Death Assistance: The worker’s dependents receive financial support in the range of Rs 2,00,000 to Rs 5,00,000.
