Chandigarh : The Punjab Road Safety Force is making a remarkable impact, significantly reducing road accidents and crimes across the state. Chief Minister Bhagwant Maan, during a press conference, praised the initiative for ensuring safer roads for all citizens.
According to CM Maan, the Punjab Road Safety Force uses advanced technology, including CCTV cameras, to monitor traffic violations. “With automated surveillance, traffic offenders are detected immediately, and challans are sent directly to their homes. This reduces the need for on-spot enforcement and ensures compliance,” he said.

Officials report that since the deployment of the Punjab Road Safety Force, fatalities due to road accidents have dropped, and incidents of reckless driving and traffic violations have significantly decreased. The force is committed to proactive enforcement and educating the public about safe driving practices.
