Chandigarh : In a heated session of the Punjab Assembly, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislators staged a strong protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the ongoing shortage of LPG gas cylinders. According to the AAP Punjab X page, the party accused the central government of failing to address the crisis, which has left millions of citizens struggling for gas cylinders across the country.
During the session, AAP leaders raised slogans against PM Modi and the ruling BJP, alleging that the government’s flawed foreign and domestic policies have contributed to the current scarcity. They highlighted that citizens struggling for gas cylinders are facing severe challenges in their daily lives, with household cooking and essential chores being directly affected.

AAP Urges Central Government to Address Citizens Struggling for Gas Cylinders and Ensure Transparent Supply
“The citizens struggling for gas cylinders cannot be ignored. Immediate steps must be taken to ensure supply and transparency in distribution,” said an AAP representative in the Assembly. The party urged the central government to break its silence on the issue and provide clear communication about efforts to resolve the crisis.

AAP legislators stressed that the shortage has caused widespread inconvenience and frustration, particularly among ordinary families. They emphasized that citizens struggling for gas cylinders deserve accountability from the government and access to this essential resource without delay.
The party concluded the protest by reaffirming its commitment to public welfare, asserting that raising the voice of citizens struggling for gas cylinders is central to its mission. AAP promised to continue pressing the issue in the Assembly until the government ensures uninterrupted supply and fair distribution of LPG across Punjab and India.
