According to Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel, literature and art give the mind a spiritual experience that makes the inner self happy and peaceful. In addition to pointing out the paradoxes in modern society, writers give the next generation guidance and inspiration. Honoring them means honoring the nation since they genuinely serve society and the country.

Governor Shri Patel spoke at the honorary ceremony and opening of the Dushyant Research Center in honor of the founding day of the Dushyant Kumar Memorial Manuscript Museum in Bhopal. According to Governor Shri Patel, honoring literary workers on the day of the institution’s founding is a celebration of the living tradition of Hindi literature as well. It is also noteworthy since Dushyant’s legacy is being honored today as literature advances language, culture, and sensibility. He pointed out that literature is more than just a collection of words; it is a live example of cultural consciousness and society’s mirror. Through his socially concerned works, Great Dushyant Kumar effectively expressed the suffering, hopes, and challenges of the average person. His works are still as important today as they were in his day because they are not just read but felt.

According to Governor Shri Patel, literature should be seen as a tool for social advancement rather than only as amusement. Creations should incorporate the earthy fragrance and folk pulse of regional languages, dialects, and folk arts. In order for tradition and advancement to coexist, writers must become powerful linkages between ancient legacy and contemporary invention.

Governor Shri Patel opened the Dushyant Research Center, gave a tour of the museum, and lit a lamp in front of the statue of Goddess Saraswati. Flowers and souvenirs were given to him. He published a special edition of the magazine “Prerna’s” for the museum. The welcoming speech was delivered by Smt. Karuna Rajurkar, the museum secretary.
