CM Dr. Mohan Yadav honors soldiers in Ujjain, boosts martyrs’ pensions, marriage aid, and welfare programs for families in Madhya Pradesh.

Soldiers protect India’s borders and preserve the pride and dignity of the country, said Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. According to him, everyone in the country respects those who wear the uniform and represent the nation. Soldiers’ devotion to and love for their homeland is the reason why the Indian tricolor is still flown with pride. At the feet of the courageous martyrs who gave their life in defense of Mother India, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav paid respect. He was speaking remotely from the state airport in Bhopal at the State Soldiers’ Rally in Ujjain.

According to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is an example to everyone and is commended for his empathy and consideration for soldiers. He said that although it is impossible to fully make up for the loss of courageous troops who gave their lives for the country, the government is always there to support their families. The state government is making certain that the dependents of martyrs receive all necessary facilities, work prospects, financial support, and pensions in a timely and respectable manner. These programs will be reinforced where necessary.

According to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the monthly support given to martyrs’ parents has been raised to ₹10,000. The marriage of the daughters and sisters of martyrs is being financed with ₹51,000. The aid sum has been increased to ₹1 crore for the dependents of Army and Central Armed Police Force servicemen who lost their lives in combat or military activities.

The state’s Second World War veterans and their spouses now receive the highest monthly pension in the nation, ₹15,000, up from ₹8,000, according to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. The state government pays its highest honorarium to soldiers who have been awarded with numerous gallantry and meritorious service honors, as well as to their dependents. The annual pay for Madhya Pradesh parents whose daughters are in the military has been raised from ₹10,000 to ₹20,000.

Because of these efforts, the Defense Minister in 2025 awarded the Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Soldiers’ Welfare the “Progressive State Trophy.” According to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the welfare offices for district soldiers are being reinforced, and the soldiers’ rest houses are being upgraded. The state is expanding its job and self-employment prospects.

“I hope the soldiers’ rally will further strengthen the spirit of national pride and unity,” said Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. On the occasion of Republic Day, he also sent out greetings in advance to everybody.
