Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini flagged off a special train to Takht Hazur Sahib Nanded from Kurukshetra, facilitating a major spiritual journey for devotees across the state. The initiative enabled more than 800 pilgrims from nine districts to embark on the sacred special train to Takht Hazur Sahib Nanded, one of the most significant Sikh pilgrimage routes in India.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that the special train to Takht Hazur Sahib Nanded represents India’s deep-rooted spiritual traditions and unity in diversity. He emphasized that such efforts help devotees connect more closely with the teachings of Sikh Gurus and strengthen the values of faith and harmony in society.

The pilgrimage is directed towards Takht Sri Hazur Sahib, a revered Sikh Takht located in Maharashtra, which holds immense religious importance for the Sikh community. The introduction of the special train to Takht Hazur Sahib Nanded aims to make the journey more accessible, comfortable, and organized for large groups of devotees, especially elderly pilgrims.
The Chief Minister also paid tribute to Jassa Singh Ramgarhia on his birth anniversary, acknowledging his contribution to Sikh history and his legacy of courage and leadership.

He further stated that under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the government is actively working to preserve and promote India’s cultural and religious heritage. He said that initiatives like the special train to Takht Hazur Sahib Nanded reflect this commitment by strengthening spiritual tourism and cultural identity across the country.
Saini also announced that another special train to Takht Hazur Sahib Nanded will be launched from Sirsa on May 15, allowing more devotees from different regions to participate in this sacred pilgrimage.
The initiative highlights the government’s continued focus on improving access to religious destinations and supporting community-based spiritual journeys across Haryana and beyond.
