The Haryana government has announced a major expansion of healthcare facilities in Rewari district, marking a significant step toward improving rural medical services. Under this initiative, nearly a dozen Rewari Healthcare Centers have been upgraded and newly approved to enhance access to quality treatment at the local level.

As part of the plan, five existing facilities have been upgraded while approval has been granted for seven new Rewari Healthcare Centers. This expansion aims to ensure that residents in rural and semi-urban areas receive timely medical attention without having to travel long distances to major hospitals.

Health Minister Arti Singh Rao stated that the initiative will significantly strengthen the healthcare system in the district. She emphasized that the development of Rewari Healthcare Centers will reduce pressure on larger hospitals and improve the overall efficiency of health services across the state.

Officials noted that the expansion of Rewari Healthcare Centers is part of a broader strategy to decentralize healthcare services in Haryana.
