Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini directs formation of Milk Producers’ Societies, supporting widows, low-income families, and boosting rural income.

Nayab Singh Saini, the chief minister of Haryana, has instructed officials to create Milk Producers’ Societies in communities in order to improve income prospects for families with lower incomes. According to him, these societies ought to prioritize widows, self-help organizations, and Antyodaya families.

The Chief Minister presided over a meeting to discuss the Cooperation Department’s budget releases.

According to Nayab Singh Saini, plans must be put in place to guarantee that societies receive benefits under the Chief Minister’s Milk Producer Incentive Scheme on time. According to him, the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department and the Cooperation Department should work together to create plans that would benefit livestock farmers as much as possible. He continued by saying that the administration wants to boost the rural economy and provide low-income families with stable sources of income.

In order to increase milk consumption, he also instructed officials to look into innovative ways to sell more milk-based goods at Vita booths. Additionally, the Chief Minister emphasized the necessity of taking proactive steps to ensure the profitability of all cooperative sugar mills in the state.

According to the budget announcement, milk collection centers have been established in three blocks and milk chilling centers in two districts for the current fiscal year, it was announced during the meeting. Furthermore, HAFED is in the process of setting up a mill for sunflower and mustard oils.

After going over additional announcements, the Chief Minister gave the relevant personnel instructions to finish the job within the allotted period and guarantee successful implementation on the ground.

Senior officials in attendance included Arun Kumar Gupta, the principal secretary to the chief minister; Vijendra Kumar, the additional chief secretary of the cooperation department; Mohammad Shayin, the commissioner and secretary of the finance department; Shakti Singh, the managing director of the Haryana State Cooperative Sugar Mills Federation; Rohit Yadav, the managing director of the Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation; and other officials.
