CM Nayab Singh Saini urges social and religious groups to support International Gita Mahotsav 2025 and 350th Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji martyrdom celebrations.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the chief minister of Haryana, stated that the city’s social and religious organizations will help make the International Gita Mahotsav magnificent and heavenly. According to him, the support of these organizations would be essential to bringing this Mahotsav to every region of the globe. In honor of the International Gita Mahotsav 2025 and the 350th anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s martyrdom, Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi will travel to Kurukshetra on November 25. Both major events are expected to draw thousands of people, and the administration and government are making extensive preparations for them.
The city’s chief minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, was speaking late Friday night to a group of leaders from over fifty religious and social organizations in the Bharatmuni Rangshala, Haryana Kala Parishad auditorium.

Representatives of the city’s social and religious organizations had previously met with the chief minister. In addition to highlighting the International Gita Mahotsav’s programs, Gita Manishi Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj urged all organizations to help ensure the festival’s success. A number of organizations’ representatives gave their recommendations for the Mahotsav’s success during the meeting.
In order to successfully organize the 350th martyrdom year of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and the International Gita Mahotsav 2025, the Chief Minister stated that the city’s social and religious organizations must once again work together with the utmost enthusiasm. To ensure the success of both significant events, all organizations must collaborate seamlessly with the government and administration. Cleaning needs special attention, he said, and each organization should do its part to keep the city tidy and attractive.

The chief minister claimed that all of the city’s main roundabouts are being designed with a Mahabharata theme to make them seem opulent and lovely. The Jyotisar Anubhav Kendra will host Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi on November 25 as part of the celebration. The same day, the Anubhav Kendra will open to visitors from both India and beyond.
Additionally, the Chief Minister stated that Jyotisar is hosting a large-scale celebration of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s 350th years of martyrdom. He remarked that the International Gita Mahotsav needs to be prepared as if it were their own festival. As a celebration of Kurukshetra’s pride, this Mahotsav will also raise the spirits of all related organizations. Each state will host thousands of devotees for this celebration. It is the responsibility of all institutional representatives to maintain the festival’s cleanliness and aesthetic appeal.
