Haryana showcases its culture and cinema with the ‘Non-Stop Filmy Haryana’ tableau at IFFI 2025, captivating audiences from India and abroad

In Goa, Haryana debuted its first state tableau during the International Film Festival of India  ( IFFI 2025 ) opening parade. A stunning and enthralling “street parade” took the place of the customary opening ceremony this year at IFFI, providing viewers with a one-of-a-kind “moving festival” brimming with the vibrant hues of Indian culture and cinema.

The famous festival, which takes place from November 20 to November 28, 2025, is a nine-day event that includes a Film Bazaar and a number of special programs.

The Haryana tableau named “Non-Stop Filmy Haryana” was developed under the direction of K.M. Pandurang, Director General, Department of Information, Public Relations, Languages & Art and Culture. Delegates, filmmakers, and guests from both India and elsewhere paid particular attention to Haryana’s tableau. The state’s cultural legacy, Haryana’s cinematic presence, and its picturesque filming locales were all creatively displayed in the presentation. Visitors from abroad and within the country expressed great admiration for the tableau.

The spectacular film camera-shaped tableau represented Haryana’s creative energy by creatively showcasing the state’s culture, people, and voice to the globe. The state’s inventiveness, energy, and promising future were symbolized by the golden beams that emerged from the camera. In a single visual canvas, digital screens showed an amazing collage of Haryana’s tourism, folk traditions, theater art, heritage, and filmmaking locations.

Additionally, the tableau conveyed the main idea of Haryana’s film policy. It showed how tales that formerly came from village chaupals are now shown on televisions all over the continent. The undulating golden mustard fields below represented Haryana’s rich customs and the never-ending voyage of tales originating from this bountiful region.
