Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial foundation laid in Lohgarh, Haryana to celebrate his heroism, justice, and the rich Sikh heritage.

The Bahadur Memorial in Lohgarh, Yamunanagar, will not only honor Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Ji’s unwavering bravery and selflessness, but it will also act as a hub of Indian culture and a venue to display the Sikh community’s rich legacy for future generations, according to Union Minister for Power, Housing, and Urban Affairs Sh. Manohar Lal. He said that this memorial would serve as a source of inspiration and faith for followers from all across the nation and the world in addition to the people of Haryana.

As the Chief Guest at the celebration of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Ji’s birth anniversary in Lohgarh, Yamunanagar, the Union Minister was speaking to a crowd.

Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, he claimed, made Lohgarh his capital after defeating Sirhind and helped farmers by doing away with the feudal system. Banda Singh Bahadur heroically stood up to injustice and gave his life in defense of justice and religion. Future generations are still motivated by his sacrifice.

This event was also attended by Public Health Engineering and Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister Sh. Ranbir Gangwa and Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Sh. Shyam Singh Rana.

Many courageous patriots have sacrificed their lives to defend our country’s culture and faith, according to Sh. Shyam Singh Rana. The sacrifices made by these courageous fighters will always be remembered by the nation.

The project officially began at the event when the foundation stone for the modern museum and Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial was laid. Sh. Ranbir Gangwa and Sh. Shyam Singh Rana each declared a donation of Rs 21 lakh to the Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Lohgarh Trust in honor of this anniversary.

The foundation of the memorial to the great warrior Baba Banda Singh Bahadur was laid today on this sacred site, according to Sh. K. Makarand Pandurang, Director General of Information, Public Relations & Languages Department, who welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. “This memorial will be a symbol of the unwavering resolve that binds us to our history, culture, and the glorious tales of our martyrs,” he continued.

Former Cabinet Minister and Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Lohgarh Trust Founder Trustee Sh. Kanwar Pal Gurjar, former Karnal MP and Trust Founder Member Sh. Sanjay Bhatia, Commissioner and Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department, Dr. Amit Kumar Agrawal, Ambala Division Commissioner Sh. Sanjeev Verma, and other special guests were also in attendance.

A 20-acre memorial will be constructed.

On roughly 20 acres of land donated by the Bhagwanpur Gram Panchayat, the historic Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial will be built. Additionally, a worldwide design competition will be used to build a magnificent statue of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur.
