Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini reviews Mhari Sadak app; 1.18 lakh km of roads fixed, strict action on pending complaints, citizens urged to report potholes.

According to Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, all registered drivers and car owners should receive notifications encouraging them to download the “ Mhari Sadak ” app. This would ensure that the greatest number of people can utilize it and help to eliminate potholes from all of the state’s roadways.

The Mhari Sadak app assessment meeting was being chaired by the chief minister. He reported that 24,482 complaints had been received on the app thus far, 10,501 of which had been resolved, 12,930 of which were still being worked on, and the remaining issues were also being addressed. Approximately 1.18 lakh km of roads have been cleared of potholes, and 1,770 residents have expressed pleasure with the way the app resolved their problems.

The Chief Minister ordered severe punishment against the accused staff after taking serious note of the improper handling of complaints. He started investigating over two dozen district- and sub-division-level officers for past-due complaints on the app and then issued an order for prompt and time-bound action. He also went over the problems that people had while using the app to report potholes in detail and gave officers the instructions they needed to fix them.

Deputy Commissioners will lead monthly review sessions of the Mhari Sadak app at the district level, according to the Chief Minister, and officers have been given the required instructions in this regard. He instructed the Public Works Department’s Engineer-in-Chief to provide a comprehensive report as soon as possible, including the number of roads that have been fixed thus far, the number that are presently being fixed, and the estimated completion date of the remaining repairs.

According to Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the Mhari Sadak app serves as a crucial citizen interface platform for feedback on infrastructure in Haryana. Efforts are underway to further enhance departmental responsiveness, real-time tracking, and public communication, even though the system has demonstrated excellent performance in data collecting and public participation. Urban Local Bodies, Public Works Department, Haryana Urban Development Authority, Haryana State Marketing Board, Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation, Zila Parishad, GMDA, PMDA, and other departments’ roads have been covered by this app to prevent potholes.

According to the Chief Minister, every person has an obligation to tell others about issues pertaining to roads. Through the app, road-related complaints are effectively reported and swiftly remedied. He continued by saying that the government will designate one road in each district as a smart road and build pathways alongside it. 19,629 people have downloaded the Mhari Sadak app since it was released by the government just last month.

Additionally, he disclosed that monies had been made available for the state’s about 46,531 kilometers of road repairs. Furthermore, around 3,000 kilometers of roads have been marked with white road markings to improve vehicle visibility in foggy conditions.
