Haryana CM meets Mizuho Bank India team to discuss MoU, strategic investments, and growth in automotive, education, finance & semiconductor sectors.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini met with a team led by Ryo Murao, Managing Director and India Head of Mizuho Bank of Japan, at the Civil Secretariat. The meeting aimed to deepen economic relations and identify new opportunities for strategic investments in Haryana.

During the meetings, the team indicated a strong interest in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Haryana’s Foreign Cooperation Department. Key areas highlighted for partnership were automotive production, education, financial services, and, most notably, the semiconductor sector, which is growing as a critical global and national priority.

The delegation informed the Chief Minister that Mizuho Bank, inspired by Haryana’s progressive policies and powerful Ease of Doing Business ecosystem, has relocated its office from Delhi to Gurugram. They asked the State Government for continuing cooperation and support as they expanded their business and investment footprint in Haryana.

The Chief Minister pledged the group of the State Government’s full assistance, stating that Haryana is committed to delivering a stable, investor-friendly climate supported by transparent governance, modern infrastructure, and trained labour. He stressed that Haryana’s strategic position, policy reforms, and proactive administrative attitude make it a top choice for global investors, particularly in high-technology and knowledge-based sectors.

On the occasion, Saini gave Sh. Ryo Murao a copy of the Bhagavad Gita and described its ageless philosophy and global message of duty, ethics, and balanced decision-making.

Notably, the Department of Foreign Cooperation is a distinct Haryana Government department in charge of the state’s diplomacy, bilateral and multilateral international contacts, and support to the Haryanvi Diaspora. It promotes the state government’s objective of modernizing Haryana via a ‘Go Global Approach’.
