Chandigarh – A meaningful meeting took place today at Sant Kabir Kutir, where Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini met with a delegation from the Arhati Association that had traveled from Punjab. During the discussion, the representatives expressed deep concern over the Punjab farmers issues, particularly regarding the challenges faced by farmers, arhats, and traders under the current Punjab government policies.
Speaking about his recent visit to Punjab, CM Nayab Saini said, “During my time there, I personally observed that every section of society is grappling with numerous challenges. The situation is extremely worrisome and requires immediate attention.” He highlighted that the ongoing problems in agriculture and trade in Punjab demand a proactive and sensitive governance approach.

Haryana’s Proactive Measures Highlight Need for Punjab Reforms
CM Saini further emphasized Haryana’s successful initiatives to safeguard the interests of farmers, arhats, and traders. “In Haryana, we have implemented multiple effective measures to boost the income of farmers and ensure their security and respect. A similar approach is urgently needed in Punjab to address the ongoing Punjab farmers issues,” he stated.

He added that ensuring the well-being of farmers and traders is a primary responsibility of any government. According to CM Saini, “This assurance of protection and support is possible in Punjab only through a strong and responsive BJP government, which can tackle the pressing Punjab farmers issues and safeguard the interests of the community.”
The Arhati Association delegation appreciated the proactive stance of Haryana and stressed the need for immediate reforms in Punjab. The meeting concluded with a mutual understanding of the critical importance of addressing Punjab farmers issues to ensure social stability and economic growth in the region.
