The Haryana government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Nayab Saini, has taken a major step towards strengthening social welfare by releasing large-scale financial assistance to beneficiaries under multiple schemes at a program held in Chandigarh. Massive support under Ladli Laxmi Yojana
As part of the seventh installment of the Ladli Laxmi Yojana, the government transferred ₹205 crore directly into the bank accounts of 9.76 lakh beneficiaries. This move further strengthens the reach of Haryana welfare schemes, ensuring financial empowerment for women and girl beneficiaries across the state.
Social security pension boost for millions
In another significant step, ₹1146.73 crore was disbursed under 18 different social security pension schemes, benefiting 35.62 lakh people. This large-scale distribution highlights the depth and impact of Haryana welfare schemes, aimed at supporting senior citizens, widows, persons with disabilities, and other eligible groups.

Scholarships for students
To promote education, the government also released ₹100.45 crore in scholarships to 64,923 students. This educational support underlines how Haryana welfare schemes are not only focused on social security but also on building a strong future through academic assistance.
