Haryana Govt extends Haryana Good Governance Awards 2025 submission deadline to Dec 17; awards honor exceptional employee contributions.

The Haryana Government will bestow Good Governance Awards upon employees who have demonstrated commendable and innovative contributions toward Good Governance during the years 2024 and 2025, in celebration of Good Governance Day on 25th December 2025. The deadline for the submission of applications and nominations for the Haryana Good Governance Award Scheme, 2025 (Haryana Sushaasan Puraskaar Yojana, 2025), has been extended until December 17, 2025. The online portal will be closed thereafter. A correspondence concerning this matter has been issued by Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi.

This extension offers eligible employees an additional opportunity to submit their entries demonstrating exemplary and innovative work in governance. All Administrative Secretaries are hereby required to obligatorily upload all State Level Awards (Flagship Awards and State Awards) for consideration, including their remarks/comments, via their respective login credentials on the official portal.

The Haryana Good Governance Award Scheme 2025 seeks to recognize and incentivize employees who demonstrate exceptional and innovative contributions to good governance. The scheme is generally applicable to all employees of Service Groups A, B, C, and D, encompassing both regular personnel and contractual staff engaged through various government agencies across all Departments, Boards, Corporations, Statutory Authorities, Missions, Societies, Institutes, Universities, and Public Sector Undertakings under the Government of Haryana. However, it explicitly excludes Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments (HoDs), and All India Service Officers (AIS).

The honors are organized into two tiers of administrative divisions: State Level and District Level. At the state level, there are two categories: State Flagship Awards (a maximum of five awards) and State Awards (a maximum of five awards). The State Level awards comprise a Trophy, an Appreciation Certificate signed by the Chief Secretary, and a monetary compensation. For both Flagship and State Awards, the cash reward is Rs. 51,000/- per team member, with the team comprising up to four members. The State Government serves as the authorized authority for the final endorsement of these State Level Awards.

For the District Level honors, a maximum of five honors will be conferred in each district. The winners at this level will be awarded a trophy, an Appreciation Certificate signed by the Divisional Commissioner of the division to which the district belongs, and a cash reward of Rs. 31,000/- for each member of the victorious team, with a maximum team size of four persons. These rewards are duly finalized and sanctioned by the Deputy Commissioner of the respective District.
