Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini inspects Mahabharata-themed Jyotisar project in Kurukshetra; aims to make Gita Sthali a top global heritage destination.

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, Chief Minister of Haryana, stated that the country’s cultural legacy has been reinforced under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. To maintain this tradition, a Mahabharata-themed project is being created at Jyotisar. Under this project, Gita Sthali Jyotisar is being developed as a tourist destination to become the world’s most gorgeous historical site.

On Tuesday, the Chief Minister inspected the Anubhav Kendra at Jyotisar Tirth, Kurukshetra district. Heritage and Tourism Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma, Gita Manishi Swami Gyananand Maharaj, and Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi were also in attendance.

The Chief Minister examined several areas of the Kendra, including the Reception Hall, Mahakavya Creation Room, Ancient Mahabharata, Kuru Lineage, Gita Shlokas, Lord Krishna’s Role, Dashavatar, and others, and directed the officers accordingly. He stated that tourists from India and beyond will be able to see the living history of Kurukshetra at the Jyotisar Anubhav Kendra.

During the visit, Smt. Kala Ramachandran, Principal Secretary of the Heritage and Tourism Department, provided the Chief Minister with a detailed presentation on the Anubhav Kendra’s characteristics via PPT. The Chief Minister directed that all development work be done as soon as possible so that tourists visiting the area can witness the history of the Mahabharata and Kurukshetra.

According to Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, Lord Shree Krishna delivered the Gita sermon from Kurukshetra, the sacred country. The government is intensifying development activities at Jyotisar in recognition of the hallowed land’s rich history. As a result, concerned officers must ensure that the development work is accomplished within the timeframe specified.

Makarand Pandurang, Director of Tourism Department Dr. Shaleen, Deputy Commissioner Sh. Vishram Kumar Meena, Honorary Secretary of KDB Upender Singhal, Chairman Madan Mohan Chhabra, and others attended the event.
