The Haryana government has reaffirmed its commitment to addressing the concerns of grassroots health workers. In Chandigarh, a high-level delegation of ASHA workers met Health Minister Arti Singh Rao and submitted a detailed 9-point demand charter outlining their key issues.
During the meeting, the Health Minister attentively listened to the grievances of the ASHA workers and assured them that their genuine concerns would be resolved on priority. The discussion primarily focused on improving working conditions, support systems, and timely resolution of pending issues related to ASHA workers demands in Haryana.

Officials of the National Health Mission (NHM) Haryana were also instructed to thoroughly study each point of the memorandum. The Health Minister directed that immediate steps be taken to ensure quick resolution of matters highlighted under ASHA workers demands in Haryana.
