A major political and rural agitation is unfolding in Gujarat as the Gujarat Farmers Protest gains momentum over the proposed high-tension electricity transmission project across agricultural land. Rising Anger Over Land Acquisition
The Gujarat Farmers Protest intensified after farmers in Morbi’s Jetpar region began an indefinite hunger strike, opposing the installation of high-voltage electricity lines and towers across fertile agricultural fields.
