Ahmedabad (Gujarat): Members of the ASAP Gujarat unit staged a protest in Ahmedabad over the alleged NEET-UG paper leak, demanding accountability and justice for over 22 lakh students affected by the examination controversy.

The demonstration was led by ASAP Gujarat president Dharmik Mathukiya, along with central zone president Yatri Patel, Ahmedabad president Tirth Shrimali, and several other party functionaries.

Allegations of Exam Irregularities and Demand for NEET-UG Cancellation

Protesters alleged that irregularities in the NEET-UG examination process and the reported paper leak had caused serious injustice to students across the country. They demanded a fair investigation and cancellation of the examination, citing loss of trust in the current testing system.

The protest was held in Ahmedabad city, where demonstrators raised slogans against the alleged mismanagement of the examination process and called for strict action against those responsible.

Following the demonstration, police intervened and detained the protesting leaders and workers. Officials stated that the detention was carried out to maintain law and order, though further details regarding charges or release were not immediately available.

The NEET-UG controversy has sparked widespread political and student-led protests across several states, with opposition groups demanding greater transparency and reforms in national-level entrance examinations.
