AAP Delhi President Saurabh Bhardwaj has criticised the BJP government over the tragic Rohini Building Collapse incident that claimed four lives, alleging a lack of accountability in handling such accidents.
Bhardwaj questioned the effectiveness of safety audits conducted in Delhi and accused the government of failing to prevent such tragedies despite claiming that dangerous buildings had been identified across the capital.
AAP Raises Questions Over Building Safety Measures
Reacting to the Rohini Building Collapse, Saurabh Bhardwaj alleged that the safety audit process carried out by the BJP government was merely an eyewash. He claimed that authorities failed to take effective action even after identifying unsafe structures.
The AAP leader alleged that instead of improving public safety, the process was misused and questioned the accountability of officials responsible for maintaining building safety standards.

Four People Dead in Building Collapse
The Rohini Building Collapse occurred in a four-storey under-construction building in Delhi’s Rohini area. According to officials, four people lost their lives while one person was injured in the incident.

Bhardwaj Accuses Government of Lack of Accountability
Speaking about the Rohini Building Collapse, Bhardwaj alleged that after such incidents, only junior-level officials face action while senior officials avoid accountability.
He said that repeated incidents involving building collapses and other safety issues highlight the need for stronger monitoring and responsibility from authorities.
Delhi Rain and Waterlogging Add to Concerns
The AAP leader also raised concerns over severe waterlogging in Delhi following heavy rainfall. He alleged that poor infrastructure management has created difficulties for residents across several parts of the city.
