PM Modi tells BJP workers in Bihar to boost women voter turnout in Assembly polls, highlighting welfare schemes and the “Pehle Matdaan, Phir Jalpaan” campaign.

PM Modi told Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers in Bihar to make sure that more women vote in the next Assembly elections. He said, “Pehle Matdaan, Phir Jalpaan” (First vote, then breakfast).

On the last day of campaigning for the first phase of polls, the Prime Minister spoke to women workers as part of the BJP’s Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot campaign. He told party officials to get women voters to the polls and increase voter turnout across the State.

When PM Modi talked to Shalini Singh, the head of the Khangaon village Panchayat, he told the Panna Pramukhs, who are party activists in charge of getting voters to the polls, to make sure that women in their regions vote early.

“When metro trains run, ladies get the most out of it. Tell people about our manifesto and the saying “Pehle Matdaan, Phir Jalpaan.” “The Panna Pramukh should make sure that women in their Panna vote first,” the Prime Minister added.

Dr. Rekha Ram, head of the Begusarai Mahila Morcha, told the Prime Minister that plans have been taken to help women voters get to polling places. She claimed that women have benefited from welfare programs like free food, 125 units of free power, pensions for the elderly, and ₹10,000 in help through the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana.

PM Modi said he was sure the NDA would win and that the people of Bihar had decided to give the alliance a bigger majority. “The inhabitants of ‘jungle raj’ would lose the most. He said, “The NDA is the only way to make Bihar better.”

He noted that the NDA administration has worked to empower women and improve their quality of life, highlighting initiatives taken to extend metro and Vande Bharat services and cut family expenses through inexpensive electricity.

Today at 5 p.m., campaigning for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections came to an end. The first round of voting will be on November 6, and the second round will be on November 11. The votes will be counted on November 14.
