Bihar CM Nitish Kumar approves ₹50,000 crore for 430 development initiatives, aiming to make Bihar a developed state.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has committed to allocating fifty thousand crore rupees for the development of Bihar. He has authorized 430 development initiatives for Bihar. Nitish Kumar convened a meeting regarding the feedback received during the Pragati Yatra at Sankalp, the official residence and office of Nitish Kumar. The meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary and a senior officer.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, while providing information about the meeting on the social media platform ‘X’, reviewed the development plans announced during the Pragati Yatra in the ‘Sankalp’ of 1 Ane Marg and instructed the relevant officials to ensure the prompt completion of the work. During the Pragati Yatra, a total of 430 schemes were approved, encompassing 22 different departments.
A sum of 50 crore rupees will be allocated.

I conducted inspections of development works across all districts during the Pragati Yatra in December 2024 and February 2025. In light of the feedback received from the public during the yatra and the emerging requirements, new schemes have been approved with an allocation of fifty thousand crore rupees.
Bihar will be classified among the developed provinces.
Nitish Kumar further stated that systematic efforts are underway for the comprehensive development of all regions and sectors within the state. Directed to diligently and promptly execute the schemes formulated for the welfare of the people. We aspire for Bihar to rank among the most advanced provinces in the nation.
