Inside Mika Singh ’s 99th Mansion Designed by Gauri Khan

From belting out bhajans in jagrans to performing on global stages, singer Mika Singh has always marched to his own beat. Now, with 98 homes already in his name, the artist has added his 99th—and possibly most meaningful—home to the list.
Located in Mumbai, this house isn’t just a statement of fame or wealth. It’s a blend of modern calm and royal energy, designed entirely by none other than Gauri Khan, the interior maven and wife of superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
But there’s a twist. Gauri had one non-negotiable condition before taking on the project—and Mika had to agree without hesitation.
A Home That Had to Wait
Mika revealed he bought this apartment in 2012, enchanted by the building so much that he purchased six flats there. But life had other plans.
“I couldn’t move in until 2018 due to legal issues. I wasn’t the only one; many other celebs were stuck too,” he shared. During this period, he lived nearby—interestingly, with comedian Kapil Sharma as his neighbor.
But even through the wait, he held on. “This building had something special. I knew it was worth it.”
Gauri Khan’s One Rule
When Mika asked Shah Rukh Khan if Gauri could design the interiors, SRK joked, “She’ll loot you, it’ll be super expensive!” But Mika didn’t flinch.
Gauri agreed to take on the project but gave one clear instruction: “Don’t interfere with my process.” Mika accepted immediately.
“I never visited the house during the renovation. I trusted her completely—and the results speak for themselves.”
It took two years, but what Gauri delivered was a space that doesn’t just look expensive—it feels like peace.
Step Inside the Dream
🛋️ Living Room

Think shades of beige, white, and brown—until your eyes meet a bold green sofa, Gauri’s signature surprise that pops without overpowering. A lion painting dominates the wall, adding a layer of strength and regality. The space is dotted with lush house plants, custom lighting, and decor that whispers luxury instead of shouting it.
Kitchen
The kitchen is sleek and practical. Everything is white—from cabinets to walls—with a jet-black granite countertop that anchors the design. It’s stylish but usable, modern without being flashy.
Bedroom

Mika’s bedroom feels like a luxury hotel suite—white and grey tones, warm wood textures, and minimalism done right. A pair of black lamps offer contrast, and the vibe is calm, not cluttered.
Gauri smartly redesigned the original 8-bedroom layout into 5 larger bedrooms, optimizing space and balance across the apartment.
Pooja Room

In contrast to the glamour, the pooja room is pure peace. White marble idols of Lakshmi, Saraswati, and Ganesha rest in a quiet space filled with spiritual energy. “This is where I feel most grounded,” Mika said.
A Space Close to His Soul
Though Mika Singh owns dozens of properties, he admits this one is special.
“This wasn’t planned. I didn’t dream of owning 99 homes—it just happened with time and opportunities. But this one is different. This one feels like mine.”
From earning ₹75 at religious functions to living in a home styled by Bollywood’s elite, Mika Singh’s story is both inspiring and humbling.
“It’s not about the number of homes. It’s about the journey. I still remember the joy of singing for crowds when no one knew my name. I’ve never forgotten that feeling.”
Final Note
This house isn’t just a showcase of wealth or design—it’s a monument to patience, trust, and transformation. Gauri Khan’s talent paired with Mika’s journey makes this Mumbai apartment not just home #99, but perhaps the most meaningful chapter yet.
