Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday launched a strong attack on the government over recurring exam paper leaks, cancelled examinations, and delayed recruitments. He announced the launch of the Students Echo Programme, calling it a nationwide initiative to highlight the concerns of students and youth.

Addressing students through a social media message, he said the Students Echo Programme aims to give voice to millions of young Indians who feel the system is failing their aspirations.

Allegations Over Education and Recruitment System

Rahul Gandhi said that in today’s system, hard work is no longer being rewarded, but instead young people are being “punished for dreaming.” He linked this sentiment directly to the Students Echo Programme, stating that repeated exam disruptions have deeply impacted students across the country.

He added that the Students Echo Programme will serve as a platform to raise awareness about issues such as paper leaks, exam cancellations, and recruitment delays.

Kota Event Marks Beginning of Nationwide Campaign

The Students Echo Programme will officially begin on June 17 at Shri Ram Rangmanch in Kota’s Dussehra Maidan, Rajasthan. The event will mark the start of the Congress party’s nationwide outreach campaign titled “Save Education, Save Your Future.”

According to party sources, the Students Echo Programme will later move to Allahabad on July 10, Patna on July 11, and Delhi on July 14, expanding its reach among students across India.

Focus on NEET and Exam Paper Leak Controversy

The launch of the Students Echo Programme comes amid ongoing controversies surrounding examination irregularities, including allegations related to NEET and other competitive exams.

Rahul Gandhi emphasised that the Students Echo Programme is necessary to restore trust in the education system and address the growing frustration among students affected by such issues.

Nationwide Student Outreach Campaign

Through the Students Echo Programme, the Congress party aims to mobilise students and youth around concerns related to education reforms, employment opportunities, and exam transparency.

The Students Echo Programme is expected to continue across multiple cities in the coming months as part of a broader national outreach effort focused on youth issues.
