Andhra Pradesh to become India’s global gateway, with CM Naidu inviting European investors to explore opportunities in tourism, industry, renewable energy, and technology sectors.
According to Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Andhra Pradesh (A.P.) would lead the way in India’s transformation into a world-class nation by 2047.
In advance of the 30th CII partnership conference on November 14–15, he spoke at the India-Europe Business Partnership Roundtable on Thursday, November 13, at a hotel in Visakhapatnam. He arrived in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
Mr. Naidu promised the European delegates attending the meeting that “if you come forward with investments, we will appoint an escort officer and help you set up industries.”
“Andhra Pradesh will serve as the entry point to the entire world market.” Investment opportunities exist in a number of industries, including food processing, tourism, education, medicine, and industrial goods. When it comes to ease, speed, and cost of doing business, A.P. is unrivalled. Mr. Naidu urged European industrialists to capitalize on these opportunities.
According to him, Visakhapatnam is a fantastic seaside city with plenty of resources. Google is establishing the biggest AI data center outside of America in Visakhapatnam as a result of this geographic environment. Additionally, he said, “subsea cable is being set up from this area to Singapore.”
In two to three days, Google will also lay the foundation stone and begin construction. In just a few days, we also granted them permits,” Mr. Naidu stated.

He said, “The State is also building a lot of ports in the port transport sector, and the railway network is also connecting ports, airports, and various cities in the country.”
India’s goal in the green energy sector is to generate 500 gigawatts of electricity. We are attempting to generate 160 gigawatts of electricity from this,” Mr. Naidu stated. He continued by saying, “The government is encouraging the investors to speed up the work and granting permits in just 45 days.”
