New Delhi | July 6, 2025 — The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today declared the CA Final and Intermediate May 2025 exam results, bringing relief and celebration to thousands of aspirants across India. The results are now available on the official ICAI websites — icai.nic.in and icai.org — where candidates can log in using their roll number and registration number to access their scorecards.
A total of 14,247 candidates have successfully cleared both groups of the CA Final examination, earning the prestigious title of Chartered Accountant.
Toppers: Meet the Top Rankers of CA Final May 2025
In the CA Final May 2025 exam, the top three All India Rank (AIR) holders are:
- AIR 1: Rajan Kabra
- AIR 2: Nishitha Bothra
- AIR 3: Manav Rakesh Shah
These rank holders have been recognized for their exceptional performance in one of the toughest professional exams in the country.
CA Final 2025: Pass Percentage Breakdown
Here is the pass percentage for various categories of the CA Final exam:
- Group I: 66,943 appeared; 14,979 passed | Pass %: 22.38%
- Group II: 46,173 appeared; 12,204 passed | Pass %: 26.43%
- Both Groups: 29,286 appeared; 5,490 passed | Pass %: 18.75%
The pass rate reflects a slightly improved trend, with a consistent percentage across both groups.
CA Inter 2025: Results and Pass Rates
For the CA Intermediate May 2025 examination, the pass rates are as follows:
- Group I: 97,034 appeared; 14,232 passed | Pass %: 14.67%
- Group II: 72,069 appeared; 15,502 passed | Pass %: 21.51%
- Both Groups: 38,029 appeared; 5,028 passed | Pass %: 13.22%
The Inter-level results demonstrate the exam’s competitive nature, with thousands of students clearing individual groups or both.

Statement of Marks and Pass Certificate: What’s Next?
- Mark Sheets: Will be dispatched by post within 30 days. If not received, candidates should write to:
- For Inter: exam.dmsinter@icai.in
- For Final: dms_examhelpline@icai.in
- Pass Certificate: Issued within 60 days to candidates who pass both groups (either together or separately). If not received within 8 weeks, candidates may contact ICAI at the above emails.
- Distinction: Candidates securing 70% or more in a single sitting are recognized as having passed with distinction.
Rank Certificate Criteria
Rank certificates will be issued up to the 50th rank (all-India basis), only if the following criteria are met:
- Passed the exam in one sitting
- No exemptions availed in any paper
- Scored a minimum of 55% aggregate marks
Certificates will be dispatched to the respective regional offices for distribution.
Verification and Answer Book Requests
- Verification of Marks: Apply via the Self Service Portal (SSP) within 1 month.
- Fee: ₹100 per paper, max ₹400 for all papers of a group.
- Note: No provision for revaluation, only verification.
- Certified Copies: Can be requested within 30 days via SSP.
- Fee: ₹500 per paper
- Scanned Answer Sheets will be sent to the registered email ID.
No Option for Improvement
ICAI reiterates that there is no provision to improve marks in groups already passed. Once a group is cleared, candidates cannot reappear for it.
