According to local residents, heavy rainfall triggered sudden gushing waters that carried mud, rocks, and debris into residential and farming areas. Villagers recounted the terrifying moments as the water surged through the area. “The gushing waters swept away our fields and destroyed crops. Vehicles parked nearby were also buried,” said Kashmir Singh, a resident of Gutrahan.
