The tragic mishap occurred in the dense Sikligar neighborhood of Sewar town. A group of local women was walking along a narrow lane toward the local market when a rooftop wall suddenly gave way.
Debris cascaded down onto the street, trapping eight pedestrians underneath. Local residents immediately rushed to the scene to clear the rubble and extricate the victims before official help arrived.

Rescuers initially transported the injured to Sewar Hospital. Medical personnel quickly referred them to the better-equipped RBM Hospital in Bharatpur for specialized care.
