The Aatmanirbhar Bharat Initiatives received a major boost as the Union Cabinet, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved several important measures aimed at making India self-reliant, technologically advanced, and a global manufacturing hub.
According to information shared by the Haryana Government on its official X account, the decisions include approval of the Mobile Phone Manufacturing Promotion Scheme (MPMS), renewed focus on the Semiconductor 2.0 Mission, and the National Investment Policy for Urea-2026 (NIPU-2026).
These policy decisions are expected to create new opportunities in manufacturing, investment, innovation, and employment while strengthening India’s position in the global market.
Boost to Mobile Manufacturing and Electronics Sector
As part of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Initiatives, the Mobile Phone Manufacturing Promotion Scheme (MPMS) aims to further expand India’s electronics manufacturing capabilities.
