The much-awaited Alpha OTT Release is creating excitement among fans as Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s action thriller prepares to arrive on the digital platform. The film, which introduced the first female-led storyline in Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) Spy Universe, will stream on Netflix after completing its theatrical journey.
Although the makers have not officially announced the streaming date yet, Netflix has been confirmed as the official OTT partner of Alpha. The platform’s branding appearing in the opening credits has confirmed its digital rights deal for the film.
Alpha Expected to Premiere on Netflix Soon
The official date for the Alpha OTT Release is still awaited. However, according to industry trends, the film is expected to premiere on Netflix around six to eight weeks after its theatrical release.
Several major Hindi films have followed a similar post-theatrical release window in recent years, allowing audiences to enjoy movies online after their cinema run.
Alpha Box Office Performance
Despite high expectations before its release, Alpha struggled to maintain strong momentum at the box office. The film, which completed 12 days in theatres, has not yet recovered its reported production budget.
On its second Tuesday, the spy thriller earned around Rs 0.85 crore net in India from 2,344 shows, taking its domestic net collection to approximately Rs 55.20 crore. The film’s domestic gross collection stands at around Rs 65.77 crore.
The movie has also collected around Rs 26.70 crore from overseas markets, taking its worldwide gross collection to nearly Rs 92.47 crore.
