Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has flagged off a special pilgrimage train to Takht Sachkhand Shri Hazur Sahib, Nanded, under the Chief Minister Tirth Darshan Yojana, marking a significant step in promoting religious tourism and cultural heritage in the state. The initiative reflects the government’s continued efforts to support economically weaker sections in fulfilling their spiritual aspirations through the Chief Minister Tirth Darshan Yojana.

Devotional journey of over 800 pilgrims

Under the Chief Minister Tirth Darshan Yojana, more than 800 devotees from 14 districts of Haryana embarked on a free pilgrimage journey. The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to all the pilgrims, expressing hope for a safe and spiritually fulfilling visit to the holy shrine.

He also paid respects to all Guru Sahiban and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in strengthening cultural values and religious unity across the state.

Strengthening cultural heritage through pilgrimage support

Speaking on the occasion, CM Nayab Singh Saini said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continuous efforts are being made to preserve and promote India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage. The Chief Minister Tirth Darshan Yojana is part of this vision, aimed at ensuring that devotees from economically weaker backgrounds can also undertake important pilgrimages without financial burden.

He noted that after the Ayodhya Dham pilgrimage, this is the second special train being operated under the Chief Minister Tirth Darshan Yojana to Takht Sachkhand Shri Hazur Sahib.

Upcoming pilgrimage to Somnath Temple

The Chief Minister also announced that another special train under the Chief Minister Tirth Darshan Yojana will depart for Somnath Temple on June 8. This continued expansion of the scheme highlights the government’s commitment to providing accessible spiritual journeys for citizens across Haryana.
