Under Haryana’s DAYALU scheme, 49,998 families have received Rs. 1,881 crore, with Aadhaar-linked DBT and mobile app tracking assistance.

On Friday, 5,794 recipients of the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Antyodyay Parivar Suraksha Yojana-I (DAYALU Scheme ) received Rs. 217.36 crore directly into their bank accounts from Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. As a result, 49,998 recipients have received a total of Rs. 1,881.355 crore in payments under the plan thus far.

According to the Chief Minister, the program has undergone major changes to boost transparency and guarantee that benefits are received by the right people. Beneficiaries’ death certificates are now directly connected to the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP), making it simple to verify death and disability certificates using PPP data. By preventing abuse and increasing system transparency, this integration will guarantee that only qualified families receive aid.

He added that the Jan Sahayak “Help Me” mobile application has also been released for residents’ convenience. Through this app, recipients’ Aadhaar-linked bank accounts receive timely financial assistance transfers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Through the app, applicants may also monitor the status of their applications and schemes. The program was put in place to give citizens financial security during difficult times.

According to the Chief Minister, households with an annual income of up to Rs. 1.80 lakh who are enrolled under the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) are covered by the initiative. Eligible families must use the platform to apply for aid within ninety days following an accident. In the event of an accident-related death or permanent disability, the initiative offers financial assistance in the range of Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 5 lakh.
