CM Bhagwant Singh Mann criticizes Akali Dal, emphasizes youth education, government schools PTMs, MGNREGA projects, and rural development in Punjab.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that the Akali Dal is determined to take Punjabi youth back to the Mesozoic (Dinosaur) Era in the state, despite the state government’s intense efforts to prepare them for the demands of the future by training them as doctors and engineers.

Speaking to the media today, the Chief Minister stated that the AAP government is working to train Punjab’s young people to become physicians and engineers so they may lead fulfilling lives. But he said that the Akali Dal, who brought drugs to the state and devastated the youth, wants to return the state to the prehistoric past. Bhagwant Singh Mann joked that the “dinosaur” of Akalis is really an air-filled plastic toy that will soon be deflated by the populace.

23.3 lakh parents attended recent massive teacher-parent meetings in government schools, which the chief minister stated was a very positive indicator for Punjab’s future. According to Bhagwant Singh Mann, this was a paradigm change because PTMs were previously common in private institutions but absent from government ones. “This is one of the best educational practices being adopted here for the students’ well-being,” he stated.

When questioned about the Nagar Kirtan protest situation in New Zealand, the Chief Minister stated that the Indian government ought to discuss this issue with the government of New Zealand. New Zealand is an educated nation, he continued, and the problem of migration has spread around the world. The state government’s unwavering commitment to protecting Punjab’s interests and those of Punjabis was reaffirmed by Bhagwant Singh Mann.

As this was going on, the Chief Minister met with the panchayats in the Dhuri Assembly seat to discuss the status of development projects. He told the elected officials that they should be aware of the problems facing the communities and the people and try their best to find solutions. Bhagwant Singh Mann emphasized the importance of making the most of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) in order to effectively complete development projects and provide jobs for the underprivileged.

The Sarpanchs were asked by the Chief Minister to prioritize development projects and to refrain from filing complaints. He urged the recently elected members of the Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad, as well as sarpanches and panchayats, to put development ahead of party affiliations. According to Bhagwant Singh Mann, the primary goal of the Punjab government is to provide every village with amenities comparable to those found in cities.

In order for the general public to benefit as much as possible, the Chief Minister stated that community center completion should be given top priority. He emphasized the need for complete collaboration between authorities in order to carry out development work and gave his word that panchayat funding will not be in short supply. Bhagwant Singh Mann declared that teenagers would receive bus permits and that every hamlet would be connected by a minibus service.

The Chief Minister had earlier asked the newly elected members of Block Committees and Zila Parishads to work toward resolving people’s issues while congratulating them. He told them that their oath-taking ceremony will take place during the first week of January, and that they will then receive training on their roles and responsibilities at MGSIPA (Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration). Development efforts are moving quickly, which is encouraging because, for the first time, they are actively taking place in every hamlet, according to Bhagwant Singh Mann.
