Haryana CM Saini launched Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana-2 to improve income, skill, employment, health, and housing for poor families.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated the Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana-2  at a state-level fair in Sonipat.

During the event, Saini stated that his government is dedicated to enhancing the living conditions of the most impoverished families.

The Antyodaya Mela is not merely a forum for disseminating information about initiatives but also a convergence of development, engagement, and enthusiasm. This initiative was initiated to enhance the income of impoverished families and offer them equal opportunities, skill development, employment, dignity, and improved living standards. In the initial phase, these exhibitions were conducted at 166 locations, and in the subsequent phase, they will be organized throughout the state,” Saini added.

The Chief Minister stated that this initiative offers new prospects in employment, self-employment, education, and health. He stated that the government intends to raise the annual income of the impoverished families to a minimum of ₹1,80,000 through this scheme.

Families are being associated with loan schemes, skill development initiatives, daily wage employment opportunities, and various other services. The scheme consolidates 49 programs from 19 departments, and a dedicated portal has been established to offer information, eligibility criteria, benefits, and online application facilities, Saini added.

The chief minister stated that over ₹258 crore has been allocated to 7 lakh women under the Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, with an emphasis on women’s empowerment.

Ration certificates have been systematically issued through an automated process for over 41 lakh families. Under the Chirayu Yojana, complimentary medical services are being extended to BPL families. Through the Ayushman Bharat-Chirayu Yojana, gratis treatment valued at ₹4,126 crore has been administered to 25.39 lakh patients, the Chief Minister added.

The Chief Minister stated that under the Dayalu Yojana, a financial aid of ₹1,456 crore has been allocated to 38,671 families.

Disadvantaged women are receiving LPG cylinders at a subsidized rate of just ₹500 per month, benefiting approximately 14.70 lakh families throughout the state. Under the Ambedkar Housing Renovation Scheme, ₹416 crore has been allocated to 76,985 beneficiaries from Scheduled Castes residing below the poverty line for house repairs. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), 1.47 lakh residences have been allocated to ensure that the underprivileged have a secure shelter, he further stated.

Saini distributed flats to 509 beneficiaries from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) under the EWS Housing Scheme and personally delivered over keys to 20 individuals on site.

The Chief Minister also unveiled the official insignia of Sonepat district, which was created by twenty students from government schools.
