Arti Singh Rao announces IT initiatives to enhance healthcare monitoring, treatment tracking, and data-driven decision making.
The state government has started a number of information technology (IT) projects to improve community-level healthcare service delivery monitoring and management, according to Haryana Health Minister Ms. Arti Singh Rao. The best possible use of the resources at hand will be facilitated by these IT projects.
The “Vehicle Tracking and Log Management System” is a new IT effort that was created as a web application, according to information shared by the Health Minister today. Other significant IT projects include the WCD School Health Portal, the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK), and Anemia Mukt Haryana.
According to her, the “Vehicle Tracking and Log Management System” was created to guarantee clear and efficient tracking of mobile health teams’ daily movements. The technology assists district officials in allocating visitation venues and assigning vehicles to designated teams. At the start of the day, each team signs into the application, takes a picture of the opening odometer reading, and continues to collect odometer readings and photos at every location they visit. When the crew returns to the parking spot at the end of the day, they take a picture and note the closing odometer reading. In order to ensure accountability and appropriate vehicle usage monitoring, the program gives district managers a comprehensive daily travel report for every team and gives state administrators access to a consolidated report of the total kilometers traveled by all teams throughout the state.

Ms. Arti Singh Rao added that the Anemia Mukt Haryana (AMH) application has undergone a number of significant enhancements to improve beneficiary monitoring, treatment, and follow-up. The name of the medical facility, the designation of the medical facilitator, and other specific treatment details are now recorded by the system. To further provide more openness and continuity of care, referral details have also been improved to include the name of the medical facilitator, the name of the referral institution, and the designation.
According to her, the follow-up reports accurately reflect all of these advancements, guaranteeing thorough monitoring of each beneficiary’s development. Additionally, a thorough dashboard has been created for in-the-moment decision-making. Users can check baseline and follow-up test results to precisely gauge improvement, track the anemia levels of all beneficiaries throughout the state, and access individual beneficiary details for focused action. Additionally, the dashboard aids in spotting patterns, filling in service delivery gaps, and enhancing women’s and children’s health outcomes. Because every life matters, the system turns data into ideas that can be put into action, she continued.
The Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) application helps manage and treat children with congenital cardiac disorders between the ages of 0 and 18, according to Ms. Aarti Singh Rao. By guaranteeing prompt identification of eligible children and enabling their admission and care in government and private super-specialty hospitals that have partnered with the platform, it streamlines the referral and free treatment procedure.
According to her, RBSK has implemented an enhanced approach to tracking children’s health and nutrition through the Poshan Tracker, in partnership with the Women and Child Development Department. This integration guarantees that every kid receives complete treatment and facilitates the tracking of important health indices.
