Haryana’s Animal Husbandry Dept Partners with Art of Living for Officer Training

Haryana’s Animal Husbandry Dept partners with Art of Living for officer training programs in ethics, team building, and mindfulness.

The Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying’s Trainers’ Training Institute (TTI), Hisar, and the Art of Living, Bengaluru (Vyakti Vikas Kendra India) inked an important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji, the founder of the Art of Living, and Vijay Singh Dahiya, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Haryana, attended the signing ceremony in Chandigarh.

Br. Pragyachaitanya, Chairman, Vyakti Vikas Kendra India, Chandigarh, and Dr. Sukhdev Rathi, Principal, Trainers’ Training Institute, Hisar, signed the Memorandum of Understanding. As a special witness, TTI Hisar’s Veterinary Officer, Dr. Ravindra Saini, approved the MoU on this particular occasion. This partnership will guarantee better results and open the door for more collaborative projects in many fields in the future. Dr. Ramkaran attended the event as well.

They explained that the purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding is to provide a framework for cooperation between the two organizations in order to plan specialized training programs for the department’s officers and staff, including senior officials and veterinary officers.

They also stated that, in accordance with the guidelines of the Haryana State Training Policy, 2020, and the National Training Policy, 2012, the goal of the training programs under the MoU is to improve the officers’ personal excellence and to offer training in policy, integrity, behavioral skills, effective team building, motivation, Sudarshan Kriya, language & etiquette, and stress management.

Building competencies for officers’ personal excellence, executive programs for government employees, and seminars on breathwork and meditation are among the programs to be carried out under the Memorandum of Understanding. Sessions on accountability, openness, ethical decision-making, and ethical reasoning in public service delivery will be covered.
