Haryana Minister Shruti Choudhry meets PWD union, pledges job rationalization, staff recognition & praises field workers for national water conservation award.

According to Smt. Shruti Choudhry, Minister of Haryana’s Irrigation and Water Resources, the State Government is considerate of its workers’ interests. According to her, the department is rationalizing both staff jobs and operating circles, ensuring that each person is assigned tasks strictly in accordance with their designated post. There are active initiatives in this area. According to her, the department’s core members are the Canal Guards and Beldars. They will shortly receive distinct outfits according to their positions in order to guarantee easy identification on the field. In field operations, this will aid in more efficiently streamlining the work system.

Smt. Shruti Choudhry presided over a meeting with Charkhi Dadri and Kurukshetra delegates of the All Haryana PWD Mechanical Employees’ Union.

She listened intently to the union’s concerns and demands and promised that any sincere requests would be taken into consideration with compassion. She further mentioned that she would have in-depth conversations on this matter with Sh. Nayab Singh, the Chief Minister.

According to her, the department’s field staff’s commitment and diligence are responsible for Haryana’s recent third-place national water conservation award. “It is an honor for me to bring this recognition to Haryana as the Minister in charge of the Irrigation and Water Resources Department,” she remarked with pleasure. Her grandfather, the late Chaudhary Bansi Lal, had envisioned a strong canal network and lift irrigation system for the state, and this accomplishment symbolizes his vision being realized.

The Minister was reassured at the meeting by Additional Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Agarwal that the Finance Department and other administrative departments would expedite and process the files and permissions pertaining to the decisions and directives taken following the discussion.

The union leaders thanked Minister Smt. Shruti Choudhry for listening to the workers’ concerns and promising to address them.

The conference also included additional officers and union leaders, as well as Chief Engineers Dr. Satbir Kadian, Sh. Birender Singh, and Sh. Rakesh Chauhan.
