PM Modi attends Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s 350th Martyrdom Day in Kurukshetra, inaugurates Jyotisar Anubhav Kendra & participates in International Gita Mahotsav.

In honor of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s 350th Martyrdom Day, the Haryana government is hosting a large state-level gathering at Jyotisar (Kurukshetra). In order to obtain the blessings of the Guru Sahib, PM Modi would travel to Kurukshetra on this occasion. There will also be other ministers and dignitaries in attendance, including Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini. The Prime Minister will also take part in the Maha Aarti at the sacred Brahma Sarovar during the International Gita Mahotsav and launch the Mahabharata Anubhav Kendra at Jyotisar.

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji fiercely opposed Aurangzeb’s injustices and gave his life in order to defend dharma. Bhai Dayala Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji, and Bhai Mati Das Ji, his loyal followers, also gave sacrifices that were unmatched. Given that eight Guru Sahibs have blessed this hallowed place, the assemblage in Kurukshetra is particularly noteworthy. Almost 28 historic Gurdwara Sahibs that preserve the Gurus’ memories can be found throughout the state. Along with four spiritual yatras that began in different parts of Haryana to disseminate the teachings of the Guru, numerous events honoring Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji have been held throughout the state since November 1, 2025. This sequence of events includes the large congregation that is taking place in Kurukshetra today.

When Sh. Nayab Singh Saini visited the Purushottam Bagh in Brahma Sarovar, he examined the program space and thoroughly examined the ongoing preparations. He gave the officials the appropriate instructions on the event’s security plans and other details. In order to thoroughly evaluate the preparations, he also went to the Aarti site and other key areas.

The Chief Minister also looked at the International Gita Jayanti Mahotsav stalls that were set up by different nations after the inspection. Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini was greeted with a hearty “Namaste” by foreign traders and guests as they arrived at the stalls.

Additionally, Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi will visit and open the Anubhav Kendra, which is located in the revered city of Jyotisar. The divine conch Panchjanya of Lord Shri Krishna will also be unveiled by him. Haryana’s spiritual and cultural legacy will gain national recognition on this occasion.

It is noteworthy that the Kendra was created under the Ministry of Tourism’s “Swadesh Darshan” initiative of the Government of India. A unique experience based on the Mahabharata theme is provided by the center. Built at an estimated cost of Rs 200 crore, this stunning complex uses contemporary technologies to bring the Mahabharata’s story, philosophy, history, and science to life.

The Panchjanya Memorial, which honors Lord Shri Krishna’s heavenly conch Panchjanya and represents the triumph of truth and righteousness, is situated within this complex. This enormous conch is 4 to 5 meters tall and weighs about 5 to 5.5 tons.

At Holy Brahma Sarovar, the prime minister will take part in the Maha Aarti.

Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi will participate in the Maha Aarti at the holy Brahma Sarovar during the great International Gita Mahotsav on the venerated land of Kurukshetra. A worldwide celebration of the timeless knowledge of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, the heavenly discourse that Lord Shri Krishna gave to Arjuna, the Gita Mahotsav draws millions of tourists and devotees each year. This event brings together academics, artists, and Sanskrit and spiritual searchers from all over India and the world to spread the Gita’s message of knowledge and karma. India’s spiritual legacy is further exalted and Kurukshetra’s global identity is strengthened by the Maha Aarti, which is celebrated near the banks of the holy Brahma Sarovar amid the radiance of innumerable lamps, the reverberation of Vedic chanting, and waves of devotion.
