Haryana approves Rs. 64.47 Cr for Bank Square Ambala Phase 2 with auditorium, rooftop food courts, and new showrooms as Phase 1 nears completion.

Sh. Anil Vij, the minister of energy, transportation, and labor for Haryana, announced that the second phase of construction of the Bank Square Ambala  building has received administrative approval of Rs. 64.47 crore. The next phase of construction will soon be opened to bids. The project’s Rs. 111 crore first phase is already nearing completion.

Initiated by Sh. Anil Vij, the Bank Square Project seeks to unite all of Ambala Cantonment’s main banks under one roof, representing a significant advancement in urban development. This cutting-edge building is intended to house 32 banks in all.

In the second phase, a four-story structure with multiple showrooms would be built at the back of the Bank Square complex, according to Sh. Vij. A 450-seat theater for gatherings and conferences will also be constructed, in addition to rooftop food courts with recreational and dining options. “Tenders will be floated shortly to commence the work, and administrative approval has been received,” he continued.

Sh. Vij highlighted the project’s advancement, stating that 3.97 acres of land are being used to build the Bank Square-cum-Shopping Mall. Three stories make up the first phase, which is 85% finished. The Bank Square project will include 100 contemporary showrooms when it is finished.

The first phase consists of a three-story structure with more than 325 parking spaces on the ground floor and basement. It features a ground floor and basement stairway, elevators, a pump house, an electrical panel room, and an HVAC plant room. There are 21 showrooms on the first floor, along with four elevators, an electrical panel room, and public restrooms for both men and women. There are 18 showrooms with comparable amenities on the second floor, and 13 showrooms on the third floor. Common area air conditioning, green landscaping, CCTV cameras, fire alarm and firefighting systems, two tube wells, and other infrastructure are additional amenities.

In addition to a 450-seat auditorium, the second phase will include 12 new showrooms on the first story, 17 on the second floor, and 20 on the third floor. There will be food courts on the rooftop to offer places to eat.
